Global Synthetics EROSION PRODUCTS:
Erosion, in simple terms, is the transportation of soil particles by water (generally) when subjected to transporting forces greater than the resisting forces of a particular soil or armour type. A simple example of increasing the resisting force of bare soil is to vegetate that soil, thereby increasing the resistance to erosion.
Global Synthetics have a wide range of products to either contain eroded materials within an area i.e. as may be found on a construction site or to provide protection to a potentially erosive surface such that erosion is minimized and that in certain applications the resistance to erosion in the longer term, vegetated state, is increased.

Erosion Control surface treatment products offered by Global Synthetics include such products as natural coir bio-degradable erosion blankets that provide effective surface treatment whilst vegetation is being established to synthetic polymer based erosion blankets that will, when combined with vegetation, have the effect of increasing the resistance of vegetated swale drains to erosion so successfully that these products may be used where more traditional hard armour systems have been used in the past, such as dumped rock or concrete linings.
